Information for Visitors who ride with Club Virago
All visitors are welcome to join club rides however here are a few important ride rules we use for safety and we ask that you also observe them.

Briefly they are:

1. STAGGER YOUR RIDE POSITION RELATIVE TO THE RIDER IN FRONT

(THIS MEANS DON'T RIDE DIRECTLY BEHIND)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------(Kerb)

              YOU                                                            RIDER
                                             RIDER
---   ---   ---   ---   ---   ---   ---   ---   ---   ---   ---   ---   ---   ---   ---   ---   (White Line)
Allow about 3 seconds between riders You may need the extra distance In an emergency!!

2 WAIT AT CORNERS
If there is a rider behind and out of sight wait for him. When you see the next rider appear and the rider sees where you’re going you can go on. This especially applies if you are turning off to another road.

3 DON’T PASS ON THE LEFT
Under no circumstances pass on the Inside of another rider unless you are in a separate lane.

4 DON’T PASS THE LEADER
If you pass the leader you have left the ride and you’re on your own…….you get lost ………..tough!!

IF YOU NEED A HAND WITH THE ABOVE ASK A MEMBER TO EXPLAIN
